For many years now, the Gera Family has taken on the onus of establishing communities dedicated to nurturing creativity and service in Pune, Goa, Bangalore, and California. With a mission to surpass customer expectations and a track record of innovation in the field of real estate warranties and child-centric homes, the Trustees expanded their vision to nurturing, and established a K–12 co-educational, day-boarding international school in Goa.

However, the Geras are no strangers to the educational system: they founded the Jai Hind Sindhu Education Trust in Pune decades ago. This trust serves more than 10,000 students in an assisted State-board school and college, with students ranging from 3 to 23 years of age. Since 31st July 2018, the Gera family has skilfully used their experience in understanding and meeting the needs of a community and in organizational management to set up The Gera School: their first private, autonomous international school in Goa, with a new vision for education in Goa.
